Roger Barron

Mr. Barron, as Senior Contracts Manager, has more than 35 years’ experience of multi-disciplined construction projects in the Power, Energy, Rail and Infrastructure sectors in the UK and worldwide. Mr. Barron has focused on contractual and commercial management combined with an initial background in Civil Engineering more than 25 years, bringing him a comprehensive understanding of the contract and management requirements for such projects.

Mr. Barron has core competencies such as development of contract management systems and project set up, leadership in development of strategies for resolution of problems, successful claim management, litigation and arbitration support, contract management within various engineering areas, development and presentation of in excess of 50 No. training courses in contracts management using various formats for diverse client organisations.

Mr Barron’s client portfolio includes firms such as Alstom, Nexans France, Areva, Carillion, London Underground, Webuild, Limak, Yapi Merkezi and Balfour Beatty.

Since 2015, he has been providing contract and claims consultancy services for ICM Consulting.

Mr. Barron holds a BS degree in Civil Engineering, of University of Salford. He is based in London, UK.
