Mr Blood has held contract, commercial and project management positions with Owners, Employers and major Contractors for in excess of 35 years.  He has extensive experience in all aspects of contracts from tenders, contracts, through to post contract claims and dispute resolution, with special emphasis on detailed contractual analysis, drafting of contracts and sub contracts, claims analysis, preparation and presentation and dispute resolution matters.

Mr Blood commenced his professional career in Australia as an electrical engineer working on energy and power distribution projects.  He moved to Singapore to assume a role as Senior Contracts Administrator for the Singapore Mass Rapid Transit Corporation during the construction of the Metro and then to Europe as Commercial Manager and Project Manager on the Channel Tunnel Project for both the tender and execution phases.  For the last 25 years he has acted as a consultant to clients in the Energy, Transport and Water sectors.

Mr Blood’s experience includes involvement in a wide variety of projects such as thermal and hydro power, heavy and light rail, highways, tunnels, desalination plants, systems such as signalling, telecommunications, energy management and formal client training in Australasia, Europe, Middle East North Africa, South Asia, Far East Asia and the Americas (North and South).

Mr Blood is a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering awarded by University of Technology Sydney Australia and is a Chartered Professional Engineer, Member of the Institute of Engineers (Aust.) and a Fellow of the Royal Society for the Arts in UK.   Mr Blood speaks English and French fluently.

Mr Blood has residency in Turkey,  England and Australia.
